Benton Hills Community Development District
The Benton Hills Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on April 26, 2022 by the Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-11 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Buena Lago CDD is located entirely within Hernando County, Florida, and consists of approximately 198.59 acres of land. The site is generally located south of Cortez Boulevard, north of Powerline Road, east of I-75 and west of McKethan Road, entirely within Hernando County, Florida.

The Benton Hills Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on April 26, 2022 by the Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2022-11. The District shall exercise the general powers in Sections 190.012(2)(a) and (2)(d), Florida Statutes.
